February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month- a national effort to raise awareness about abuse in teen and young adult relationships. Use your voice to help us promote healthy relationships this February. Over 70% of boys and 65% of girls say that their parents have not had a conversation about healthy relationships with them in the last year. By having conversations about dating relationships with your tween or teen, teaching youth about healthy and harmful relationship behaviors, and modeling appropriate behaviors, we can help youth develop positive dating relationships and prevent dating violence. Learn more, invite REACH to have a conversation with your teen's school or youth group, host a healthy relationship dialogue with a group of parents, or help REACH send a letter to your editor.
