Impact of the Campaign

Shelter Bednights
The REACH shelter program provides nights of safety and days of healing. We don’t just offer a bed; we provide supportive services for adults and children fleeing violence and seeking safety. Our house is a home and each night – every day – matters. The Campaign will allow REACH to double the number of bednights we are able to provide.

Independence Fund
The Fund helps survivors rebuild their lives with small grants for needs such as security deposits, moving costs, car repairs or helps out with costs for camp, activity fees or equipment for kids. Sustaining self-sufficiency is a vital part of reaching beyond domestic violence and the success of the Campaign means that many more survivors will have access to funds.

Individual Advocacy
In shelter or in the community, our advocates stand with victims and survivors as they reach beyond domestic violence. Whether working out of a police department or in our office, advocates are a resource for families needing housing, physical and mental health care, financial support, legal aid, court accompaniment, parenting skills, child care, training and counseling services. This Campaign is helping REACH dramatically increase the number of people receiving advocacy services.
